In the first ad,which can be seen in magazines such as Essence,Reverend Run and his family “spread the message of hope by wearing a [colorful] scarf.” This is the mission of company Safe Horizon:

Dear Run, Hello my name is Dream Woody and i would like for you to get to know my organization. We are called Intra Afrikan Konnection. My project that i am working on is called Brown Sugar Babies-An African American Women’s Dialogue Group on Infant Mortality Prevention. The goal of Brown Sugar Babies is to improve birth outcomes and decrease pre-maturity rates with in the African American Community. I just need to get the word out that there is place for African American to come to get help with these issues.
