Actress Paula Jai Parker and her husband of three years are having their first child together:

Actress Paula Jai Parker is expecting her first child with her husband, Forrest Martin. The couple met in 2004 on the Memphis set of ‘Hustle & Flow,’ where Martin, who had just graduated with a Master of Fine Arts from The University of Tennessee was working as an intern. Parker almost passed on shooting the critically-acclaimed movie and only took the part at the urging of her friends and film co-stars, Taraji P. Henson and Anthony Anderson.
The couple wed the following year.We’re so excited,” the actress said, breaking the news to me. “It’s too early to tell if it’s a boy or a girl.”

The pair has been married three years and this is their first child. Parker has worked in both film (’Sprung’/'Phone Booth’) and television (’The Wayans Brothers’/'The Apollo Comedy Hour’). She’s currently featured in the DVD release, ‘Cover.’[CLICK TO ENLARGE PICTURE]
